Become a LCS member

Most of us know that singing is actually good for us! Good for the brain, improves heart-rate and circulation, makes you feel happy, to name but a few plus-points. There is some interesting information about the benefits of choral singing here (BBC) , and here (Cmuse). A group called 'ChoraLine', who specialise in 'the art of choral learning have their website here.

If you would like to become a member of LCS, there will be an audition with Mark Wilde, our Musical Director, when you can sing a piece of your choice. Auditions are held at the beginning of the Spring and Autumn terms.

Rehearsals are held in the Old Hall, Christ's Hospital School, Wragby Road, Lincoln on Monday evenings at 7.30pm. Members are required to attend at least 75% of rehearsals for any given concert. You can see a video of the choir rehearsing here.

The cost of joining LCS is £95 per annum, reduced to £90 if payment is made before the end of August. The annual cost for students is £25.
